The hidden gem of Versailles.

So... It is super common to visit the palace of Versailles when coming to Paris. Each time I have traveled to France we have stopped by, buuuuuttttt you can only see the main palace so many times before it gets sort of old (haha no pun intended). So when we came with the boys we knew we had to make it a little more exciting.... Did our research and found another bike tour of course!

This tour was so awesome and I had no idea Versailles had so much to offer! The gardens and Marie Antoinette's house were truly amazing. Before it started we stopped at the most darling little market to pick up picnic lunches and then ventured out on a full day of biking through the gardens (which mind you it would take days to walk to everything). Then of course you got to tour the Grand and Petit Trianons and the Palace at the end. And the guide gave us great history of everything that I had never heard before.

Marie Antoinette created an entire village in Versailles and it was like a mini french Disneyland. These pictures do not do justice!

My favorite city on this entire planet.

As you were last updated, you saw that Dallas and I both graduated from college in May. So my parents being as awesome as they are, gave us a graduation trip as a gift and immediately I knew I wanted to take Dallas to my favorite city on earth... Paris!

Dallas had never been to Europe and I couldn't wait to go explore I have been seriously behind so here is our documentation of the most amazing trip!

Day #1: Our advice is once you fly in I know jet lag is a pain but STAY AWAKE! it is tough but worth it. We planned a bike tour to see that main sites and it was perfect because it kept us awake haha

This is the flight over... haha when you fly delta to Paris make sure to pay a little extra for the Economy Comfort SO WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Ok so the 411 on the bike tour: It is great because you get the history on the main sites, its exercise but you get to places quickly, the tour guides are darling locals who have darling french accents, and you stop all along the way at the touristy places that you just want to stop at for a few minutes anyways! Bike tours = the way to go!

Day #2: We slept in, which was nice then ate at the most fun restaurant in all of Paris called Le Jules Vern. I say the most fun because it is at the top of the Eiffel Tower!! There is no better way to experience the Eiffel Tower! You beat all the lines, you don't have to take the stairs, and you get amazing panoramic views of the city. The down side..... the food is AUTHENTIC FRENCH CUISINE. haha it was pretty fancy and food no one was a fan of... the boys were laughing the whole time but it is the best way to experience fine dining in Paris. After this we shopped, walked along the Seine, and went to the Louvre. It was a perfect Parisian day.

And lastly... we had to go get better food after our 5 course meal at Le Jules Vern haha

We graduated from college and it was great!

HA! We graduated from college now 8 months ago and it has been a whirlwind ever since!

- Dallas got his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.

- I got my Bachelors Degree in Science of Nursing.

- We both got our dream jobs.

- We sold our townhouse.

- We bought/remodeled our house.

- We traveled the world.

- And now we are bringing another life into this world!

Whew those are some serious life events in an 8 month time period. Our lives will be changing so much in the next 8 months so we are just trying to enjoy every moment!

Here is the proof... haha jk but seriously.

A little bit of Disney.

Well hello there it has been a minute...

When I say a minute I mean a few months..... Lots has happened.

So I will have to split all these updates up! This is going to be all out of order sadly. I was going to post about graduation (which was back in May...) but.... my hard drive crashed and we are still trying to recover months... years worth of photos! Great right?! Sorry end rant.

But in the mean time I will post some out of order events slash house updates! We are moved in! Yay! Pics to come soon.

Pics I do have are from our great trip to Florida this summer. It was super random but super fun! We went to Disney World for a few days, Universal Studios, then hopped on a weekend cruise to the Bahamas! It was so great and we felt like kids again for a few days. The guys may have thrown in the towel on Disney after day one but our resort was amazing and everyone got to have their own personal "Disney" aka golf. haha.
